I was so inspired by a layout on Ali Edwards blog last week I just had to do my own version. Her page is titled 10 Things Right Now and here is my take on it for me.

New Release Day at Inspiration Lane

There are some fantastic new releases today. You can check them all out here.

I tried my hand at making some digi cards...It was fun and I think they turned out cute. I used this collection by Sherri Tierney.

And these are my cards.


Also Creations by Rachael has a new collab with Late Night Scraps and it is fantastic. This is a huge kit. So many cool papers and embellishments plus a really cool fishbowl alpha!


Here's my layout. These photos are from a trip to the Seattle Aquarium we made in 2002. Liz had so much fun there!


Sarah Morgan Designs has a new set of templates to work with this week also. Love the circles!

This first one is a pic of my DD at her favorite place, the St. Louis Science Center. The kit is 4 the Boys by Designs by Jen Yurko.


I got to looking at photos one day and noticed just how much my DD's smile has changed through the years. Here's a page I did with Firefly Chic by Digital Couture. Lovin' it!

I'm Not Bad....New From Sir Scrapalot Designs

I'm so loving this new kit from Sir Scrapalot. Sooo cute. I'm totally in love with the little monsters in it!


Here is a layout I showing my DD acting all goofy this past summer. She wanted me to take pictures of her making scary faces. Aren't those little skeleton faces adorable?


Sir Scrapalot Designs also has a couple of other products new this week.

I also have a couple of older layouts that I've done with Aaron's designs that I haven't posted here yet.
The first one is of my DD doing a gem hunt science project that she bought for her dad for Christmas a few years ago. I used Artistic Mess Paper Pack and Artistic Mess Alpha for this one.


And this next one is one about my grandma and her steadfast ways. This layout uses Grape Crush.

Born to Rock

This is the last week of the Pixie Hunt challenge at Enchanted Studio Scraps. First let me show you the amazing kit we were given to work with.

This is my week four layout of my DD playing Rock Band. I love how well this kit works for these photos and had a blast doing something a little out of my normal scrapping comfort zone (seems like I'm doing that a lot with this contest).

TotallyD New kits released today.

TotallyD Designs has three new kits at IL this week. Here are the previews of the kits (as always images are linked to product in the IL store).


This first layout is with What About Charlie. My DD has been asking for a rat lately and when my DH found a deal on Craig's List on a rat cage he bought it for her. Still no rats though!

Some of the things that were done by my DH to make my birthday this year special.


My DD and nephew...the journaling is about the close relationship the two have and how hard it is being so far away from each other.

September 12th Releases at Inspiration Lane

I wanted to show some of my layouts I made with this weeks kits. First are a couple of layouts I did with kits from TotallyD Designs.
I love this photo I have of the trees from when we lived in Washington state. Everything is from TotallyD Design's new kit Wind Song.


This next one is a picture of the cake from my DH and my wedding reception. Everything is from Time 4 Tea by TotallyD Designs.


My DD loves the Home Depot Kids Workshops. This is from one last year. Everything from He Said by Designs by Sherri Tierney.


I had a lot of fun with this next one...I've been wanting to do a page like this for a long time and I'm so glad these kits came along, it gave me the push I needed. Everything is from He Said, She Said by Designs by Sherri Tierney. You can also purchase She Said separately.


And last I have a layout showing off the pumpkins that DH and I carved back in 2001. We loved the shadows on the wall behind the Jack O'lanterns (I promise if you look and squint your eyes just right you can see them in the photos). Everything is from Halloween Funk by Designs by Jen Yurko.

Week 3 of the Pixie Hunt at ESS

This week we were given this fantastic kit by Dani Moy Designs. I love, love, love the blue and brown together!


Here's the layout I crated for this weeks submission. The photos are from when we took my DD to storytime at the library near my parents and she had all kinds of fun listening to the instruments that were played and then getting to play with the spoons and the doll.

No Fear

TotallyD Designs has just released a techy type kit this week. I was so excited to use it..just love all the elements. Here is the preview of the kit (image is linked to kit in IL boutique).


This layout is from when we went into Downtown Chicago last month for Devin's Immigration Appointment. We decided to go to the top of the Sear's Tower. This is Liz in one of the clear boxes they just added to the top of the tower this past summer.

Funky Fall and Doctor, Doctor!

It's been a few days since I've posted...been a little crazy here. I have a few more layouts done with kits from this past Saturday's releases at Inspiration Lane.

As soon as I saw this new kit from Sarah Morgan I knew I had found a kit to finally scrap these broken arm photos.
