Funky Fall and Doctor, Doctor!

It's been a few days since I've posted...been a little crazy here. I have a few more layouts done with kits from this past Saturday's releases at Inspiration Lane.

As soon as I saw this new kit from Sarah Morgan I knew I had found a kit to finally scrap these broken arm photos.

And here's the kit preview (image is linked to the kit in the IL Boutique).

Inspiration Lane also has a new Signature Kit available this month called Funky Fall. Here's the preview of this awesome kit!

This first layout is from a trip to a pumpkin farm we made a few years ago.

And this is a pic from the only year we've been to celebrate Thanksgiving with my husbands family in Canada.

New from Laura Bozeman Designs

Laura released a couple of kits today that I wanted to share with you. The first one is Fall Beauty and I just love the rich colors she used here.

This was the kit that was given to the contestants of the Scrap Your Pants Off Contest at Inspiration Lane last month so I thought I'd share the layouts I did for the contest. These layouts feature my younger brothers and their wives.

The next kit is the mini that Laura created for the Colors to Inspire you challenge last month.

And here's the layout I created with it.

I have quite a few more layouts from IL I'll be sharing with y'all over the next couple of days plus a few more from Sir Scrapalot Designs so again stay tuned!

Template Challenge Polka Dot Plum

I decided to try my hand at the template challenge today at PDP. This layout is of the zinnias DD and I grew last summer.
Everything is from Selena and Alina: Sisters and Friends by Sir Scrapalot Designs...if you scroll down to yesterday mornings blog post you can see the kit preview and another layout done with it.

Pixie Hunt - Week Two

Last night I finished my layout for week two of the pixie hunt for Enchanted Studio Scraps. Here is the gorgeous kit we were sent.

I'm not typically a fantasy scrapper but for some reason the bridge called out to me. I really wanted to use it in a layout. As soon as I saw it I knew which picture I wanted to use with it. All in all I don't feel that it's too bad for one of my very few fantasy attempts. It does feel a little lonelier than I intended but I do love the black and white with that pop of color from my DD's jacket.

After closer reading of the rules, this contest is a 4 week cumulative contest, so no eliminations. At the end the ESS staff will pick the winner, so after this I will get two more incredible kits to work with!

Polka Dot Plum is Open...

and I have a few layouts to share with you using a couple of kits from Sir Scrapalot Designs! The first is one using Selena and Alina: Sisters and Friends.

When I saw this kit I knew immediately which photo I wanted to scrap with it. These two have been friends from the beginning and I wanted to tell their story.

Next up is Ice Cream Man.
I love these photos we snapped of my daughter's first ice cream cone...I actually realize there is a big possibility that this isn't her first one..but it is the first one I witnessed her eating so to me it counts!

Next up is a page about a trip we took to a local ice cream establishment that my cousin recommended to us. Delicious!

I have a few more layouts I'll be sharing with you later in the week...Aaron (Sir Scrapalot) has some really cool stuff in his store. Also the people at Polka Dot Plum have some really fun contests and events happening to celebrate their grand opening. Visit the PDP website to find out more about them.

Good day today...

So I had a bit of an ego boost today. One of the layouts that I did for my IL blog post this morning was picked as IL layout of the day. I wanted to go ahead and share it with you here, also.

This one was scraplifted from a layout by scrappydi. I just love this photo of my DD and thought this was a great way to scrap it. Everything is from La Boheme by Joyful Heart Designs.

Also my other page that I scrapped for my IL blog post was chosen as one of the layouts for the September IL Scrap Lift Challenge.

This one is scraplifted from a layout by Lilipuce. Everything is from Ainsley by ScrapperGirl Designs.

Goings Ons at Inspiration Lane

Inspiration Lane is starting a new daily download today, visit the site everyday and sign up for the newsletter for the last installment and this is the kit you can get.

Inspiration Lane has also changed the format of their blog. There is now a blog team and each day there will be a new post by a team member, so always something new, some will be posts about designers and products, others will offer up challenges and give tricks and techniques. I started off September today with my blog post (Tuesday Inspirations) about scraplifting and included a challenge. Check out the blog here.

And last.....

I've changed the Scrapping Everyday challenge from weekly to twice a month so I have a new challenge for you today posted here.

This challenge is to scrap a routine...here's my layout for the challenge. I chose to scrap about our morning schedule. This challenge runs through the 15th so check it out and show us one of your routines.

Everything from Hannah by Creations by Rachael.

There are also lots of other challenges starting at IL today, so hopefully you can find one that inspires you (not to mention get points that can be traded in for product later on).
