TNT Challenge at IL

This months Techniques and Trends Challenge at IL is to take two or more photos and merge them to make one image. In the layout I did for the challenge the photo of the fireworks and the photo of my DD were two separate photos. Love how easy it was to do this! Here is my layout.

This weeks Scrapping the Everyday challenge at Inspiration Lane is about scrapping your hobbies. I decided to do a layout about knitting which talks about when and why I started knitting and showcases my current projects.

A Birthday Page this time.

When my DD turned 5 she decided that she wanted cat cupcakes for her birthday at the last minute. We tried to find premade ones but had no luck, so my DH and I got creative and here is what we came up with.

Long Beach

I have a new layout for y'all. This is one from a trip to Vancouver Island in 2003. I absolutely love the colors in this kit and thought they'd work perfectly for the coastal photo.

Everything is from Early Morning Blues and Greens by Laura Bozeman Designs.

I made the paper strip behind the title semi transparent to give it more of a vellum effect and the bracket masks were made with the shape tool in my scrapbooking program.
